Google Pixel Watch Expected Price

According to price leaks, it will be priced between the Apple Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.

Google is expected to unveil its first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, later this year, and we may finally know how much it will cost thanks to this information. The Pixel Watch won’t have a single price like its competitors. Instead, Google is anticipated to provide both LTE and non-LTE versions of its first smartwatch. The former will have a separate 4G connection and probably be used to stream music and make calls without a smartphone. The latter will only be equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and as such, it will only be able to access data and make calls when it is connected to a Wi-Fi network or a smartphone via Bluetooth. This approach is also used by Apple and Samsung with their smartwatches.

The Pixel Watch with LTE will cost $399 (£338), which is the same as the WI-Fi/Bluetooth version of the Apple Watch Series 7 but more expensive than the $279 Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, according to an unnamed source who spoke to 9to5Google. The new Fitbit Sense 2, which costs $299 and serves as Google’s entry-level smartwatch because Fitbit is owned by the search engine giant, is placed above the Pixel Watch as well. With no expected price difference, the Pixel Watch is anticipated to be available in three different colors: silver, black, and gold. As of right now, it doesn’t appear that Google will offer different Pixel Watch sizes like Apple does, and there is no proof of a more expensive titanium-clad model.

In a similar vein, it doesn’t appear that Google is planning to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which has a Wi-Fi price of $449 and a cellular price of $499. As previously reported, the Google Pixel Watch will run Wear OS 3 and be powered by a Samsung Exynos 9110 processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Along with the standard features of a smartwatch, such as GPS, water resistance up to 50 meters, and NFC, Fitbit’s parent company is also expected to include all the fitness and health tracking technology you would expect. Neither the release date nor the price of Google’s Pixel Watch are yet known. All we know is that it will probably be released in the fall, possibly concurrently with Google’s new Pixels.

Smartwatches will have a busy few weeks as Apple is anticipated to unveil the Watch Series 8 and iPhone 14 at its Far Out launch event on September 7.
